The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 p.m. at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Keith Muir and Chris Cameron were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the minutes of the May meeting.  A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board.  A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 

Bills were reviewed.  Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $ 13,539.16
General Fund $10,738.22; State Fund $2,800.94. Mr. Cameron seconded.  Motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron.  Motion carried.

Unfinished Business consisted of two orders of business the first being awarding of the bids for resurfacing materials.

Mr. Cameron made a motion to accept low bids.  Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.  The stone bid was awarded to Ritchey Trucking and the oil bid was awarded to Suite-Kote.

The second order of unfinished business was a motion by Mr. Muir to pass Ordinance #48, the Penns Manor Emergency Management Agency District Ordinance. This ordinance establishes one joint emergency operations plan for Pine, Cherryhill and Clymer. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

Under New Business, Mr. Shultz moved to request $25,000 from Indiana County for road resurfacing materials. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion.  Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

A motion was made by Mr. Muir to purchase new swings and replacement chains for the Pine Township Park.  Mr. Shultz seconded the motion.  Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.


Public Comments consisted of a property complaint.


Announcements Spring Clean Up was a success with 7 roll off dumpsters being filled.


Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the June Meeting.  Mr. Muir seconded the motion. 
Motion carried.  The June Regular Meeting was adjourned at 7:30PM.
