The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers.
There were no Citizens Comments.
The Board approved the Minutes of the September 2017 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $12,601.79; General Funds $12,601.79, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to accept the report. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the DEP report concerning Country Meadows, which came back normal. They also discussed the need for speed limit signs in Brownstown and repairing and replacing several stop signs.
There was no Unfinished Business
Under New Business, Mr. Muir motioned to advertise for 1000 ton of PENDOT approved anti-skid.
Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion passed.
There were Public Comments concerning the water problems on Tipperary Road. Mr. Shultz told the residents the Township has exhausted all options and suggested the residents go to Representative Reed.
The Supervisors Announced trick or treat would be held October 29th, between the hours of 5PM and 7PM. They also reminded residents of the Open House being held by the Pine Township Volunteer Fire Company between 12noon and 4PM on the same day.
Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The September Meeting was adjourned at 7:30 PM.
