The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Keith Muir were present. Chris Cameron was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were two Guest Speakers from Indiana County Planning and Development. They were Josie Cunningham and Jeff Raykes. They were there to introduce SALDO, a Subdivision and Land Development Ordinance for Indiana County. The Ordinance will regulate subdivisions and land development in all areas
of Indiana County.

There were no Citizens Comments.

The Board approved the Minutes of the June 2018 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for
by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,586.37; General Funds $2,785.42, State Funds $800.95. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.

The Police Report was reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved accept the report. Mr. Muir seconded, motion carried.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Under Unfinished Business Mr. Shultz reported on the problems that occurred at the Stiles Station pipe rehab project. When the construction company uncovered the pipe, they found the pipe was broken and disintegrated beyond repair. They notified Mr. Shultz, who contacted both supervisors who decided to have the bridge pipes replaced. The Sec/Treasurer ask the Supervisors if the project should be halted and rebid as a pipe replacement. Mr. Shultz moved to pass Emergency spending Resolution 20180626. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.

Also voted on was Resolution 20180702. This resolution is the annual commitment by Pine Township to abide by the Indiana County Hazard Mitigation Plan. Mr. Muir motioned to enact Resolution 20180626,
Mr. Shultz seconded, Motion carried.

Mr. Muir then moved to Adjourn the Meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. 
The July Meeting was adjourned at 7:44 PM.
