PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
April 6th, 2020
The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM on a telephone conference with Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

The Board approved the Minutes of the March meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by 
Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports, Timesheets and Roadmaster's Report were sent to the Board earlier. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $5850.02 
General Funds $3,640, State Funds $2,209.62. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.

The Balances for April 2020 General Fund $ 170,180.23 and State Fund $282,179.37
 
The Police Report was not presented for reviewed due to Covid-19 distancing procedure. 
 
The Unfinished Business was tabled till a time when residents could return to meetings 

New Business consisted of passing two emergency Resolutions. The Supervisors have been asked to pass Resolution 042020, A Resolution recognizing the authority of the Penns Manor EMS district during a pandemic. Mr. Shultz made a motion to pass Resolution 042020, Mr. Muir seconded. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

The Supervisors have also been asked to pass Resolution 042020A. In the case emergency management measures are required, the Pine Township Supervisors have been asked to pass a Declaration of Disaster Emergency for Pine Township. This will help the Supervisors, and Emergency Management purchase or rent supplies, if needed, without bidding procedures.
Mr. Shultz made a motion to declare the existence of a disaster emergency in Pine Township, Indiana County, 
Mr. Muir seconded. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

Mr. Shultz also made a motion to delay spring clean up to May 15th, 16th and 17th. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

There were no Public Comments. 
There were no Announcements.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the April Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried.  
The April Meeting was adjourned at 7:13 PM.
