PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
September 2020
The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers.

The Board approved the Minutes of the August 2020 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $ 4,679.96
General Funds $3,436.20, State Funds $1,243.76. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $ 266,601.60 and State Fund $279,368.87.
 
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed a sewage complaint and the inspection report. All the supervisors agreed the matter was handled by ICSEA and no further action is required.

Unfinished Business concerned the recycling bin the Supervisors have been considering. Mr. Cameron suggested rethinking the purchase and revisiting the subject again next year, making a motion. The other Supervisors agreed. Motion carried.

Under New Business Mr. Shultz has been in contact with Chevron over the damage they had done to Kinter Station Bridge. They have made an offer to pay for the new pipes with Pine Township being responsible for the rest. After discussion, Mr. Shultz motion to accept the $15,000 as payment in full for the damage. Mr. Cameron seconded. Motion passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

There were no Public Comments. 

There were no Announcements.


Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the September 2020 Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The September Meeting was adjourned at 7:25 PM.
