PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
July 2021



The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Keith Muir were present. Chris Cameron was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

The Board approved the Minutes of the June 2021 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Shultz moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $10,888.89.
General Funds $451.03, State Funds $10,437.86. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $331,933.97 and State Fund $357,203.66.
 
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Shultz, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed Road resurfacing and the repairs and maintenance of township vehicles. 

There was no Unfinished Business 

New Business consisted of a motion from Mr. Shultz to enter into an agreement with Green Township to help them acquire a federal grant for the rehabilitation of Laurel Road and Engle Roads. Pine Township would supply trucks and labor. A motion to enter into the agreement was made by Mr. Muir seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

There were no Public Comments. 

There were no Announcements.

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the July Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The July Meeting was adjourned at 7:40 PM.
