PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
September 7th, 2021
The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

The Board approved the Minutes of the August 2021 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $50,050.32
General Funds $2,875.63, State Funds $47,174.69. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $439,779.67 and State Fund $305,948.98.
 
The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed Fall Clean Up and Vehicle repairs.

Unfinished Business consisted of a tabled vote concerning money received from ARPA fund. Mr. Cameron spoke to Commissioner Mike Keith who told him if we give the funds we received to the county, he could not guarantee the money would be spent in Pine Township. Mr. Cameron then moved to keep the money and contact Comcast to see if we could extend broadband in Pine Township. A motion to keep the money for Pine Township was seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motioned passed with all Supervisors in agreement.

 New Business was a motion from Mr. Shultz to advertise for 1000 ton of PENDOT approved anti-skid for winter stone. With results being read at the November Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motioned carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

There were no Public Comments. 

Mr. Shultz Announced Fall Clean Up would be October 8th, 9th, and 10th. Between the hours of 
8AM and 5PM


Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the September 7th Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The September Meeting was adjourned at 7:28 PM.
