MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
 March 7th, 2022

The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.

There were no Guest Speakers. 

The Board approved the Minutes of the February meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $10,576.69
General Funds $8,007.77, State Funds $2,568.92. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $319,046.49 and State Fund $358,093.77.

The Police Report was reviewed A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by 
Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed a new furnace to replace the one in the upstairs garage. They also discussed spring clean up and the ARPA recovery funds.

Under Unfinished Business the Supervisors discussed fixing the bridge on Stiles Station with the money received from the ARPA recovery funds. A motion was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir.
 Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

New Business consisted of two matters. The first was the need for a Spring clean-up. Mr. Muir moved to schedule a Spring clean-up for May 13-14-15. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.
The second order of new business was the need for a furnace for the upstairs garage. When it was cleaned the technician noticed several breaks in the core, causing us to use more propane. 
A motion was made by Mr. Cameron to purchase a new or used furnace, seconded by Mr. Muir. 
Motion carried with all Supervisors in agreement.

There were no Public Comments. 

Announcement was made that Spring Clean-Up would be held May 13th, 14th, and 15th. 7AM to 7PM

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the March 2022 Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The March Meeting was adjourned at 7:20 PM.
