MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
December 5th, 2022

The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Chris Cameron, and Keith Muir were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance and welcomed all visitors.
There were no Guest Speakers. 

The Board approved the Minutes of the November meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,621.74
General Funds $3,621.74, State Funds $0. Mr. Muir seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $578,989.79 and State Fund $339,698.70
 
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was made by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Supervisors Discussed 

The Unfinished Business consisted or the passing of Resolution 2022-1252 which establishes the tax rate for 2023. The tax rate will remain 1 mil on real estate and $5 per capita. Mr. Cameron moved to pass the resolution; Mr. Muir seconded. Resolution passed with all Supervisors in agreement.  
Next Mr. Cameron moved to pass resolution 2022-125 which appropriates specific sums estimated to be required for the purpose of general government in 2023. Mr. Shultz seconded. Resolution passed and 2023 budget was enacted with all Supervisors in agreement. The 2023 Budget is set at a total revenue of $1,102,580 and total expenditures at $750,673. The totals reflect all funds. 

There were no Public Comments. 

Mr. Shultz announced the Reorganization Meeting will be held Jan 3rd, 2023 at 7:00 PM with the Regular January Meeting following

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the December Meeting. Mr. Muir seconded the motion. Motion carried. The December Meeting was adjourned at 7:18 PM.
