The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.
There were no Guest Speakers
The Board approved the Minutes of the November 2025 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $10,634.42.
General Funds $4,473.21, State Funds $6,161.21. Mr. Shultz seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $366,963.54 and State Fund $436,350.00.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report and was called for by Mr. Cameron,
seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
No Supervisors Discussions.
Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the Indiana County Municipal Services Authority https://www.futureofemsforindianaco.org. Jeff Gromley will be holding a district #4 meeting on Tuesday, December 2nd at the Cherryhill Township office. The next order of business consisted of the passing of Resolution 2025-121 which establishes the tax rate for 2026. The tax rate will remain 1 mil on real estate and $5 per capita. Mr. Cameron moved to pass the resolution; Mr. Shultz seconded. Motion carried. Next, Mr. Cameron moved to pass resolution 2025-122 which appropriates specific sums estimated to be required for the purpose of general government in 2026. Mr. Shultz seconded. Resolution passed and the 2026 budget was enacted. The 2026 Budget is set at a total revenue of $1,276,273 and total expenditures at $529,393. The totals reflect all funds.
New Business consisted of Resolution number 2025-123, a resolution to establish the compensation of the Tax Collector. Motion by Mr. Cameron to pass the Resolution, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the December meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The December meeting was adjourned at 7:22 PM.
