MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
June 2, 2025

The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Keith Muir were present. Chris Cameron was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no Guest Speakers 

The Board approved the Minutes of the May 2025 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $9,530.24.
General Funds $9,530.24, State Funds $0. Mr. Shultz seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $412,689.32 and State Fund $580,510.51.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, 
seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 
 
The Supervisors Discussed the Highmark Benefit Program due for renewal July 2025. The current plan Performance Blue PPO $0 100/80 Platinum to due to increase. Alternative plans and rates were provided for review.

Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the countywide new emergency services authority. No new updates. The Articles of Incorporation will be submitted to the Department of the State for approval. Once approved at the state level, the Authority will begin working on the cost per household. 

The first order of New Business was a motion by Mr. Muir to renew the Highmark Performance Blue PPO $0 100/80 Platinum health plan effective July 2025 - June 2026, Mr. Shultz seconded. Motion carried. 
The next order of new business was a quote from Stephenson Equipment for a Gledhill 8 ft. Waterfall Spreader model #707 co-stars pricing $6,200 – installed, $5,000 – pickup. A motion to purchase for pickup was made by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

There were no Public Comments

Announcements: Spring Clean-Up this Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 7 AM – 7 PM

Mr. Muir then moved to Adjourn the June meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The June meeting was adjourned at 7:16 PM.
