MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
March 3, 2025




The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:05 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz, Keith Muir, and Chris Cameron were present. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no Guest Speakers 

The Board approved the Minutes of the February 2025 meeting and the minutes from the EMA Special Meeting held on January 29, 2025. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Muir moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $5,598.78.
General Funds $5,598.78, State Funds $0. Mr. Cameron seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $380,636.48 and State Fund $580,450.75.

The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Muir, seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Shultz, 
seconded by Mr. Muir. Motion carried. 

The Supervisors Discussed tar & chip. Roads due for tar & chip include Heilwood, Pineton - 403 to Nolo Road and Cameron Bottom – 403 to 403. All trucks are back except the 2025 Peterbilt, still at the factory.

Unfinished Business consisted of an update for the countywide new emergency services authority. Commissioner Mike Keith, has been meeting with a few townships and boroughs that did not enact the ordinance. 

New Business included a motion from Mr. Shultz to schedule spring clean-up for June 6th, 7th, and 8th, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7 am to 7 pm., Mr. Muir seconded. Motion carried. 

The next order of business was a Proclamation recognizing April 2025 as “Pennsylvania 811 Safe Digging Month”. Motion to proclaim was made by Mr. Muir seconded by Mr. Cameron. Motion carried.

There were no Announcements 

Mr. Shultz then moved to Adjourn the March meeting. Mr. Cameron seconded the motion. Motion carried. The March meeting was adjourned at 7:28PM.
