The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:00 PM at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Chris Cameron, and Ryan Shultz were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.
There were no Guest Speakers
The Board approved the Minutes of the March 2026 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $14,854.67.
General Funds $12,296.35, State Funds $2,558.32. Mr. Shultz seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $390,380.43 and State Fund $549,222.62.
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report and was called for by Mr. Cameron,
seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The Supervisors Discussed the Cherry Tree Police yearly cost along with the amounts collected from fines for the year. They were also provided a copy of the 2025 Financial Statement from the audit for review. They also discussed the wind damage on 04/02/26 at the Pine Township Park that brought a tree down on the basketball court taking down one of the posts and backboard. A claim for this damage was submitted to the insurance company earlier today.
Unfinished Business consisted of a motion tabled from the March meeting to approve Resolution # 2026-0302 Authorizing and Empowering Berkheimer Tax Administrator, The Duly Appointed Collector of Earned Income Tax for the Indiana County Tax Collection District, to use Confidential Tax Information to Bill for Emergency Medical Services (“EMS”) Fees. Motion to approve Resolution # 2026-0302 by Mr. Cameron. Seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.
The next order of new business included a motion from Mr. Cameron to schedule spring clean-up for June 5th, 6th, and 7th, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7 am to 7 pm., Mr. Shultz seconded. Motion carried.

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the April meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The April meeting was adjourned at 7:21 PM.
