MINUTES
PINE TOWNSHIP SUPERVISORS MEETING
January 5, 2026


The Pine Township Board of Supervisors held their regular meeting at 7:15 PM immediately following the reorganization meeting at the Pine Township Municipal Building in Heilwood. Ryan Shultz and Chris Cameron were present. Keith Muir was absent. Ryan Shultz called the meeting to order then led the Pledge of Allegiance.

There were no Guest Speakers 

The Board approved the Minutes of the December 2025 meeting. A motion to accept the minutes was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

The Treasurer’s Reports and Timesheets were presented to the Board. A motion to accept the reports was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried.

Bills were reviewed. Mr. Cameron moved to pay the bills on the agenda totaling $3,977.36.
General Funds $3,977.36, State Funds $0. Mr. Shultz seconded; motion carried.
The Balances after expenditures are General Fund $373,118.21 and State Fund $437,733.17.
 
The Roadmaster’s Report was presented to the Board. A motion to accept the report was called for by Mr. Cameron, seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

The Police Report was reviewed. A motion to accept the report and was called for by Mr. Cameron, 
seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 
 
Supervisors Discussion: All 3 auditor positions are vacant. Resolution # 2026-105 Providing for Auditor Compensation was presented to the Supervisors. It was decided by Mr. Cameron and Mr. Shultz to set the auditor compensation to $18/hour.

Unfinished Business. No update for the Indiana County Municipal Services Authority. Website https://www.icmesapa.gov.  

New Business: Although not on the agenda, motion by Mr. Cameron to pass Resolution 2026-105 
Providing for Auditor Compensation. Auditor compensation to be set at $18 per hour. 
Seconded by Mr. Shultz. Motion carried. 

There were no Public Comments. 

There were no Announcements 

Mr. Cameron then moved to Adjourn the January meeting. Mr. Shultz seconded the motion. Motion carried. The January meeting was adjourned at 7:28 PM.
