ORDINANCE  NUMBER 18    
                              
AN ORDINANCE FOR PINE TOWNSHIP, INDIANA COUNTY, PENNSYLVANIA. PROVIDING FOR THE INCREASE OF SUPERVISOR COMPENSATION FOR ATTENDANCE AT MEETINGS

BE IT ORDAINED and it is hereby ordained by the Township Supervisors of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, as follows:

1.That each Supervisor of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, elected or appointed to office on or after            November 5, 1985, shall receive compensation in the amount of Fifty Dollars ($50.00) for each meeting that said           Supervisor attends.
2.This compensation shall be paid on a monthly basis.
3.In no event shall any Supervisor of Pine Township, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, receive an excess of One           Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($1,500.00) per year in compensation for attendance at meetings.
4.This ordinance shall become effective January 1, 1986.
5.All prior ordinances dealing with compensation that conflict with the terms of this ordinance are hereby invalid and
  rescinded to the extent that they conflict with this ordinance.
6.In all other respects, all other ordinances of Pine Township dealing with compensation or benefits for Supervisors
  shall remain in full force and effect.
