Pine Township is a local government agency serving a population of 2140.  We maintain 26.77 miles of township roads. Our facilities include an office and two garages all contained in a brick building.

Our staff includes 3 part time road workers, 1 office personal and three elected Supervisors.  The office is open Monday through Thursday from 7:30 AM until 12:30.  The secretary handles a variety of duties such as daily invoices, government forms, budgets, audits, bidding , lien letter requests, road bonds and resident service.

Our road workers are responsible for the upkeep of the township roads and township equipment.  Road work consists of tar and chipping, fixing potholes, proper drainage, and snow removal. They are on call 24 hours for emergency services whether it be a tree down, an icing problem or help for the fire company. Once a month they transfer food from a county food bank to the Pine Township Fire Hall where it is distributed to the disadvantaged.

Our truck fleet contains  a 2005 International dump truck with plow and spreader, a 2011 Ford pickup with a plow and spreader, a 2010 International 4-wheel drive dump truck with plow and spreader, a 2004 Case Backhoe and Loader, a 1984 Grader, a Woods hydralic road bush, a 1960 angled stone rake, a Massy Ferguson tractor/loader and a 2005 ditch bank mower.
